About My WLS Journey

So I'm starting this whole WLS blog a bit late in the game, just a mere 4 years out, it's never to late, right?

Actually part of the idea for this blog (and specfically this page) came from reading lots of other bandster blogs. There are actually hundreds that I've stumbled upon (who knew!?) and I think so many exist is because  writting about your WLS journey and having a support group is well cathartic. As an avid writer, I write alot and I mean ALOT. I blog, I post, I status, I write papers for school, I write for a newspaper, I write scientific papers etc... you get the point. I've written almost every type of style there is and touched upon most subjects, except well one- my own WLS journey. I like logic, and well this seems like the logical next step.

Before now, very few (like... 2) with the exception of my medical team, have been a part of it. And although they know about the numbers on the scale, the gains, the losses, I've really never shared my most inner thoughts- the struggles and the triumphs. That is what I hope to do here (and of course the #s). While it will personally serve as a memoir and means to keep me on track (hopefully!), I also hope that by sharing this journey it will perhaps help someone else. I will admit there is one other motive- to share in my experience and create an online support/social group. So...if you have a blog, please let me know so I can add you to my blogroll!
